Having lived all my life with a strong conscience and driving need to gain wisdom, it is no wonder that I would use Conscience and Wisdom for this essay. Conscience is defined as an inner sensation of what is right or wrong in one 's conduct or motives, impelling one toward right action. Wisdom is the power to conceive and act using knowledge, experience, intellect, common sense, and perceptiveness. Practical Application Having a conscience is important to have, without one or with wrong thinking comes pain and distress. Having such a moral conscience used to bother me, as I was disliked or called a tattle tale because I could not lie to my parents. My siblings did not understand that when my parents would question me I did not tell the truth because I wanted to but because it was a physical pain when I did not behave correctly. As I develop a deeper relationship with God, it is obvious not just to myself but to others that my conscience is now more firmly directed towards a Godly purpose.
