Putting aside the questions of legality, what moral arguments can be given for and against dumping? What is your position on dumping and what principles and values do you base it on? Should we have laws prohibiting more types of dumping? Must this be an international effort, and if so, how do you do it?
a. The moral arguments that can be given for dumping is it is beneficial for third world countries who typically couldn’t afford these products without them being dumped. The moral arguments that can be given against dumping is if the only reason manufactures are dumping the products are to make a profit even though the banned products can cause dangerous effects.
b. I believe that dumping is alternative for manufactures to get rid of problems quickly while still making a profit. They don’t think about the long-term consequences and the other societies involved. I think this is completely non-moral and unfair of manufactures take advantages of countries that don’t clearly understand the consequences, such as death. The principles and values that I based my position on my personal ethics. I believe that taking the easy way out to get rid of your problems and not thinking about everyone else the decision can affect is not
