As a child, movies provided a way to bring my family together and broaden our horizons. They were a constant source of inspiration, ideologies, and entertainment and therefore we watched a lot of movies during my childhood. Aforementioned considered pinpointing a favorite for this particular assignment proved to be a difficult task in itself. I choose to Transmediate a film titled, The Monster Squad because it was amongst the many movies that my brothers and I use to joyfully reenact. We all wished that there were toys and sequels but it wasn’t a large enough success in comparison to similar films such as Goonies and Lost Boys although it’s come to be known as a cult classic. The monster squad is lead by a child named Sean whose father is the town’s chief of police. The club members consist of his best friends Patrick and Horace along with their newest recruit Rudy.
