NETS-T (teachers) The FSL module Planning ICT Integration (2013), lists the four stages of staff capabilities as defined by the STaR Chart, developed in Florida as a rubric for planning technological integration, as, Entry (awareness)- staff begin to see the benefits of technology in education. Intermediate (acceptance)- staff accept that technology has a role in education. Advanced (adopted) - staff have embraced and adopted technology as a part of a supportive infrastructure. Target (advocating) - staff seek to create new learning environments through technology.
I have classified the teachers in my school worksite as into an intermediate (acceptance) in the staff capabilities. Besides, the faculty is at a medium level of technological penetration level, but with major omissions and some errors. The ISTE standards for teachers includes the educator as a facilitator and the one who will inspire the students’ learning and creativity using

As the FSL module Planning ICT Integration (2013), declares about the integration of technology should be oriented, “to support student achievement, not only technology itself. ICT planning and integration is meant to drive student achievement, not simply put computers in schools”. A specific PD is needed in the specific uses that the device could be use. However, as with the students, the teachers need to have a differentiated instruction according to their technological readiness. Since most of the courses for the faculty are so general, the ones who knows some of it, will not sacrifice time for the basics. Additionally, the ones who does not know any technological use, will not sacrifice time for a PD that they cannot understand.
