Romanticism is presented in “The Minister 's Black Veil” as a gothic type this actually surprised me as romanticism is mainly known as love stories. The way the story was presented suspicion and conflict was a new way of presentation such as involving the public and get the reader to think about the world and people around us. We all have a mask that we hide ourselves behind we rarely remove this mask except for special people at special times “never trust no on”. It 's amazing how all quotes relate to each other at some point. The minister in the story felt the need to show everyone that everyone in fact has a black veil, again showing that it 's part of a human being.
