Hooper wearing the black veil that symbolizes secret sin, it’s my turn to say what I would wear, what it symbolizes, and how people would react. If there is one thing that I would wear to represent myself for the rest of my life, it’s a black rose. By this, I don’t mean a black rose tattoo if that’s what you were thinking when you read this. No, what I mean is an actual black rose attached on my shirt. From a relative’s perspective, they probably not like the idea of me wearing a black rose. They probably might not accept it at first, but they might accept me for it if they do. From a stranger’s perspective, they’ll probably think about what’s wrong with me and why would I carry a rose that shows negative symbolism.To some people, black isn’t a color that has that many positive meaning. Usually, black is portrayed to be a negative color and is evil if you ever seen any fictional movies or death if you ever been in a funeral. For starters, it is true that a black rose represents death and mourning, but to me, it is also a symbol of rebirth and rejuvenation. Half of me says that a black rose represents the end of old habits and begin new and fresh. It also sees this flower as a symbol of resistance and courage. I am courageous and can resist some negative events at certain times, but not all the time. But on the dark side of me, it sees this dark flower as a symbol of revenge and hatred. I know how it feels to be filled with rage and hatred, so a part of me sees this flower as a sign of vengeance and get back at others. Also as I mentioned, a black rose means death and mourning, and my dark side agrees with that. I mourn when a tragic event happens and I know that death will eventually strike the people I have cared about and also me.
