That being said being surrounded by a positive energy can almost guarantee to make the body feel better. Psychologically wise a person in the hospital with a dull and dreary room might become depressed and the healing process might take more time. Conversely filling up a hospital room with flowers, drawings, balloons, cards, and whatever else can make the patient happier and therefore heal faster. The higher spirits the mood is in the better the chance for a speedy recovery. The reason for that being the more high spirited the mood, the healthier the mindset, which means the healthier the body. As stated before, the body is at the whim of the mind, so therefore the happier the mind, the happier the body. Nonetheless, there does come a time where the body might betray the mind. Your mind could be completely healthy, nothing could be wrong at all, except you have asthma. How did this happen? You didn’t spend your days wishing for asthma, one day it just became harder and harder to breath. That’s not your fault, sometimes it’s just how the body works. The saying, “the mind works in mysterious ways”, can also be said for the body because it too can work in the shadows. You cannot try to control everything that happens to you physically with your mind, even if that would be nice. Keeping out the negative thoughts can encourage your body and to keep functioning normally. Relaxing your body can send your mind to a comforting place with new ideas and openness. Having an open mind is really the goal because opening up your mind gives forth new opportunities that can be used and take advantage of to lead to an easier life. It would also give more opportunities for a healthier lifestyle and therefore a healthier body. Likewise keeping your body fit and vigorous leads the way to a stronger mind.
