The Millionaire Next Door Book Report

Throughout the “The Millionaire Next Door” the book goes into looking at different forms of millionaires, the most important lesson that I learned that these millionaires do to acquire their fortune, is the little things that include everything takes time and energy. Can’t just happen in one day, they must spend money at the right chances and to really save money. A lot of what makes a millionaire and where they made their wealth was the choices they made, such as they all choose the right occupation at the right time, most came from simple or humble backgrounds they are blue collar workers that just happen to get a good education and be in their fields at the right time they learned to save and make the right investments at the right time. I figured out my family growing up was a UAW both my parents worked a lot they made pretty nice enough money, they spent a lot, they charged a lot, if we needed something we bought it, we we’re always taking trips, and most things we wanted we bought. As, my parents got older and after time my parents became PAWs they really look at their money now, they save, they must work less, they really budget and really think about their spending habits before they buy anything in less it’s the basic food, clothing, shelter. Continuing to be a PAW is important to me to save and not just blow my money, this is something I really want to live by now that I am a full- time student, save and buy less. The third point I learned was you aren’t what you drive, growing up my family always had nice trucks and cars, I myself have had nice vehicles nothing crazy like sports cars or anything, but I’ve learned you doesn’t make you, I will be planning to buy a new car next year and I from this book I really want to save and have a nice down payment on a
