A country’s main concern should be to keep the majority of the population satisfied rather than to gain power through a strong military. A strong military may be needed when the country feels there is a threat but otherwise expansion of military purposes will rarely do any good when the majority of the population is not satisfied. In case of a war a country will have a higher chance of winning when it has a strong defense made of people who are willing to fight for their country and their government but that will not be the case when the people are not happy when their needs are not meet. A population is more likely to revolt against the government rather than fight for them when they not satisfied. Rebellions are more likely to happen with an unsatisfied population which will only open itself to other more powerful country trying to take control since there in no unity and overproduction for military purpose can harm the country when people started killing each other. A government’s job is to listen to the county’s different opinions and made a decision that will keep the majority of the people happy. Power is something that can change a country and when someone gain access to a large amount of power at once they tend to become selfish. Presidents other leaders of countries gain a large amount of power at once and the power and stress of running a country can make people make the wrong decisions even when they feel that they are helping the people. Leader also try to keep the riches happy when they can be helpful for donations but often times money can mislead one from their main goal. Greed is another trait that is related to power access and trying to make a country wealthy to expand the government’s wealth for its personal benefit can be sometimes be hard to resist but the government must remember that they are given the power by the people in some cases to keep the people efficient and satisfied.
