Footsteps of an army of soldiers march outside your door. Most people have ran from the town in fear of ISIS taking over. Any hope of escape vanishes when realization of having no escape hits. There is nothing to do except hide; hide and wait for some hope of an opportunity to leave the town. Christians in the Middle East are being tortured, crucified, and raped for believing in Jesus Christ. They are living martyrs for the Lord.
ISIS is a radical muslim group who persecutes anyone who does not submit to sadistic interpretation of the Koran. The radical group controls an area of about the size of Indiana. This stretches from the Syrian border with Turkey to south of Fallujah, Iraq (Griswold 1). These radicals have worked to destroy many historical sites in the Middle East (Chastain 1). In the last eighteen months, more than 125,000 Christians have been removed from their homes in the Middle East (Logan 1). However, they do not just terrorize Christians and other minorities that do not believe the same as them, they also threaten other muslims.

They do horrendous actions towards anyone that they choose to not like. They are a form of Islam, yet they are determined on annihilating any Muslim that is not as radical as them. However, Christianity seems to be getting the bulk of the terror. George J. Marlin, the author of “Middle East: A 21st Century Tragedy” simply said, “A Middle East without Christians - holy sites not surrounded by a living Christian community - would turn into a museum of Christianity maintained by foreign clergy for the benefit of foreign pilgrims.” No matter the view on Christianity, the fact remains that without it in the Middle East, a radical group wanting to rule the world stands
