The Thursday service was much of the same with the exception that it was wholly in Tagalog and I was able to glean more information from the members during the pot luck. One thing I did encounter though was that after the sermon, as some people were leaving, the minister Ka Cipriano, singled out a member as she walking to the door and said that Ka Remy was forgetting her obligation/duty to the organization. The lady stopped and looked embarrassed and dug something out of her purse and put what I assume is money in the tithe basket that was passed around earlier. I did
