As I read through the chapter, I came across several interesting sections I was likely to chose, but I was able to narrow it down to one. The section that really caught my attention was the section labeled ‘The Mere Presence of Others’ p.267. This section covers the term Social Facilitation which I found to be very true and relatable. The book states that Social Facilitation is the response of strengthening your performance when in the presence of others. It is basically saying that we try harder at doing something when there is people watching us. I know that I can definitely relate to this topic because I tend to do it all of the time. I see myself doing this all of the time at work. I work at a daycare and have a lot of people observe me
