The United States is known for being a liberal democracy where all citizens have a say in their country 's leader. Elections are held every four years to decide the future U.S. president to represent the people by the people with their concerns. The year 2016 is a presidential election year between two frontrunner candidates: Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Both have a lot to prove to the citizens to gain a large majority of support. An issue portrayed in a political campaign ad in favor of Hillary Clinton demonstrates immigrants in which both candidates have different stances on. The audio showed signs of hopelessness for the imminent future. The music is made up of piano key strokes that create the dramatic yet sorrowful vibe to the Trump remarks in the video. In the background, a Latino family is shown in their living room; making them feel singled out of the country they view as the land of opportunity. No person wants to be excluded from anything and it is what Trump believes is best for our nation. Additionally, this method is used for the Muslims represented by a female with the traditional hijab with the American flag imprinted. An implication could be made that Hillary for America doesn’t comply with Trump as the whole point in creating the video is to make Hillary the front runner for the elections and to get the presidential nomination. Anything but Hillary will result in a racist, egotistical president inferred by Hillary’s committee. Eventually, the tone of the audio shifts to an optimistic view when Hillary is presented. The mood then shifted to a promising future. In figure 1, the light is shown behind the man while listening to Hillary’s speech in appreciation. This type of reaction was not displayed for Trump’s remarks for the obvious conclusion that this idea of unity Hillary mentions goes against Trump’s philosophy.
