The Medicine Shoppe has a social media presence on three platforms: Google Review, Facebook, and their company website; however, all capabilities and other platforms have not been explored to their full potential. Facebook, Foursquare, and Twitter are key platforms which can assist in boosting the popularity of a business as customers are able to share their experiences and the business can post related content, sales promotions, and other information to related events. Social media platforms help a business to connect to their customers and obtain feedback from them. It is a beneficial element in increasing the company’s trustworthiness while reducing marketing costs and increasing sales. Although the template cannot be modified, it is not being used to its full potential. The website offers features such as contact information, location, hours, online ordering and refills. Of these services contact information,directions and prescription refills are active; however, email contact information and placing orders online have not been included.
Facebook:
The Medicine Shoppe currently has a Facebook page which includes informational health related posts ; however, there are several repetitive posts on the page and the posts are not made regularly. The page also does not use any hashtags or other medium to propagate the posts that are made, but rather uses an auto-generated URL.

The Foursquare, Twitter, and Google Reviews:
The Medicine Shoppe has a single Google Review posted; even though it is a positive review it has a no effect on the brand value of the company as a single review is never considered reliable by customers. However, the review demonstrates how the pharmacy is customer oriented and involved in the

Foursquare helps a business to log information in order to more accurately market or stock specials. This information includes daily check-ins, recent visitors, most frequent visitors, gender, and the time of day people go to the pharmacy; however, this information is only included when customers use the app and check-in. Foursquare offers a platform to promote specials and attract customers. This is done through the use of different “specials”.
The Medicine Shoppe does not currently have a Twitter account which would provide another means of communicating with customers.The Medicine Shoppe is surrounded by a close knit community and Twitter can be a great medium to further develop this sense of community and advertise sales, vaccination information, and other events. The company could use Twitter to pay attention to their customers, respond to requests or concerns, and obtain feedback. Twitter could also be used to stay connected to customers by posting fun facts or other informative information.
