This is why she is one the advocate for death with dignity program. They want to make sure that if anyone ends up in her shoes that they will have the same choice and opportunities that she did. She says that nobody has the right to deny one their right to die. The right to die should be expressed just like any other right in the Constitution. The First Amendment allows the freedom of speech, press, and religion. With freedom of speech one does not have to speak out but if they have something they want to say, they can express it. Under freedom of speech and press one’s values can be disrespected, but also can be uplifted. The same goes for freedom of religion, some religions have similar beliefs while others completely go against each other. The right to die is the same way. Physician assisted suicide goes against many people’s religions and beliefs, but it also follows many others values. In today’s society every opposition is argued upon because it goes against someone’s thoughts. Society is not perfect but can be perfected. If physician assisted suicide was legalized it would be argued about constantly and be uplifted constantly at the same time. The United States is about freedom, and legalized physician assisted suicide would only further express that
