Twitter has become the largest source of news breaking media and the firsthand information for the journalists, in the conventional media. The rise of the social media such as twitter has raised fears among the journalists. As a professional practice of journalists is brought to disappear; means in recent years of dire predictions about the decline of the profession. As such, the role of the journalist is essential. His profession is changing profoundly, which does not mean it will disappear. It takes place in a new context that has become more complex. This paper examines the role of the twitter for the journalists to cover breaking news. Digital media base their activity on tools and platforms publication and distribution that does not belong to them and they do not master the ins and outs. This technology outsourcing content to private companies made dependent journalistic activity with rules and Foreign national legislation to Egyptian rights (Papacharissi, & de Fatima Oliveira, 2011, September). For example, the media hardly hold any rights to the information hosted on the servers of Facebook or Twitter.
Tweets had convinced a huge variety of its viewers before mainstream media revealed the information in the paper entitled as, “Breaking News on Twitter” also discover that attention on Twitter was highly focused on some “opinion leaders” and recognize three groups of opinion management who played key positions in growing the news: individuals affiliated with press performed most in breaking the information, mass press introduced the information to a broader viewers and provided eager Tweets users with content on exterior sites, and celebrities assisted to distribute the information and activate …show more content…
But how far do organizations need to go (and have -they means)? Illustrations, video, computer graphics, summary files, complete folders or complete citations interviews. Again, journalists are caught between the convenience that saves time and resistance to uniformity, the affirmation of their role in the collection and analysis of information.
