Every year, people in the U.S. celebrate the holiday dedicated to the people who died serving in the armed forces. That’s the outside meaning of Memorial Day. What does Memorial Day mean in depth? Some people, it’s decorating graves, saying a prayer, and remembering the fallen. To me? It’s much more… When I decorate my great grandpa’s tomb stone, I just don’t lay flowers upon his grave because flowers don’t hold a significant meaning the way the American Flag does.
