The Meadows Foundation has taken some part in many projects in Texas that have built playgrounds for children with disabilities. One of the Meadows Foundation main initiatives serves towards mental health. In 2011, the Meadows Foundation Board of Directors approved a mental health plan for the goal of improving mental health services in Texas. With this plan, “they actively worked to increase all grant making by 20%” (Meadows Foundation). 50% of that percentage would be awarded to mental health dollars. The Brystation area would be privileged to work with the Meadows Foundation because there purpose, goals, and experience are complimentary to the needs of this indoor and outdoor facility.
