First, the history of the MBTI is shorter and more modern than the Horoscope. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator published by Isabel Briggs Myers and her mother, Katharine Cook Briggs during the 1960s. Unlike the MBTI, the origin of the Horoscope was ancient, beginning with the early civilizations of Mesopotamia. Because MBTI obtains results depending on test for people’s thought and behavior, which are influenced by people’s personalities, it is trustworthy. What’s more, my result of MBTI is that I am an outgoing and active person and like to share ideas with others, and that description considerably accords with my own personality. On the other hand, although sometimes what Libra shows is similar to my personality, since it has less valid evidence to prove and sometimes I do not behave like its result, this theory is less credible than the MBTI.
