The Masque Of The Red Death Character Analysis

Decent Essays
In the Masque of the Red Death, we see the dark side of human nature in the actions Prospero takes. It is dark and twisted that he goes and only takes his friends to safety, instead of trying to protect as many people as he can. His ball that he throws is also dark. He shouldn’t be throwing a party when everyone outside is getting killed by the Red Death. We can easily view the Prince's masquerade ball as a symbol for the inevitable journey of life into death.
