In the novel, The Martian, written by Andy Weir, is based upon an astronaut and botanist called Mark Watney. The novel is about Mark doing everything he could to survive using his remarkable knowledge, meanwhile having to bear the worst-case scenarios going through his head, hard labor, problems after problems and the most painful, loneliness. This novel not only contains scientific facts and humor, but also being genuine or realistic, which brought many lessons to learn from.
