The Mariner’s Story of Salvation
Lord of the Flies. Pride and Prejudice. Of Mice and Men. These works are all categorized as renowned, classic literature, but what about Strangers from Within, First Impressions, and Something that Happened? These titles may not be as familiar as the preceding ones; however, the truth is that they are simply alternative names for them. In the case of these novels, the author had two excellent book titles to choose from. One may or may not agree with each writer’s decision. One instance in which I think that the title of a work should be revised is in “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner”. When reading the poem, the key elements that protrude from the stanzas are the facts that the Mariner overcame sin through heartache
