Everyone agree with this Statement that there is no place like home. It means that the home is that place where everyone can find peace, love and more understanding. Now, what happens when this house becomes the theater of problem and violence; when the relationship changes into fight? According to the bureau of Justice, Domestic violence is the leading cause of injury to women between the ages of 15 and 44 in the United States, more than car accidents, muggings, and rape combined. Otherwise, a woman is more likely to be assaulted, injured, raped, or killed by a male partner than by any other type of assailant. In fact that was the case for Ray Rice. After the video of his violence go viral in the public area, this situation damaged the esteem he got from his sponsor, team members and supporters. Suddenly he stopped to represent this model in the society. Somehow that is why The NFL released him. Even though he tried a kind of damage control by presenting his excuse on the public, that situation definitely destroyed his, it is clear that domestic violence also has a great impact on the aggressor life. However, the huge effects are on victims’ life and society. First, Women can die from that violence. In fact, during the fight, everything can happen, especially for those men who get drunk. One 1994 study by the Department of Justice discovered that over half the defendants of domes accused of murdering their spouse and been drinking at the time the murder occurred (Bureau of Justice Statistics, 1994). Also, when they survived, women victims of domestic violence develop symptoms like stress, depression and anxiety. Some of them become alcoholic, just because they don’t understand the situation, most of them felt rejected and humiliated. It is clear that everyone could agree they have to go far away of their aggressor. However most of them stay in order to protect the children. If the partner is famous or powerful; they fear to lose their children in case of separation. Also, the problem always passed down the children. The domestic violence destroys the children future in many ways. In fact domestic violence destroys the family harmony by weakening the family bond. The aggressor always say to children when they have that it is the mommy fault; He will never like to act like that, to put the responsibility of the problem to the woman.
