World War I was one extremely bloody war that engulfed Europe from 1914 to 1919. i think that their are many causes of world war one it could have been nationalism,imperialism and many others. Imperialism was establishing control over their land as a threats. also because of britain they had a large amount of land than anyone. but the british empire was on one quarter of the globe so that was why the sun never set their. Another cause was that European they had ruled smaller countries. then they started getting colonies then it was turned into Imperialism. also in France,Britain they had a lot of colonies to. then Germany and Italy got jealous and they wanted the colonial empire.

Nationalism also led the military to build strength
