The Manson Family was a cult that was formed in California in the late 1960’s. It was let by Charles Manson and the group consisted of 100 of his “followers” who lived an unconventional lifestyle with the use of hallucinogenic drugs. Most of the members in the group were young women who came from middle-class backgrounds, many that were profound by Manson’s teachings and drawn by hippy culture and communal living.
