They walked through the cold night with only a thick jacket each, in one hand a small bag containing a change of clothes and any small belongings that were able to squeeze in and in the, on the other hand, they carried a gallon of water that would last them 2 days. They spent a whole day walking trying to get as close as possible to there destination. Joan remembers walking by a small town filled with mango trees. He had all the memories of the mango fields back home flow through his head. He remembered how the mango trees always waited for him they never turned there back on him. Joan felt his body overheat even if he was walking under a sunset. All he wished for was to lay in one of the mango trees.
