He grows into a mature young man during the few days in Narnia. Aslan lets him be the knights and crowns him the High King of Narnia in the end. He becomes the King Peter the Magnificent at his reign.
3.1.2.4 Susan Pevensie
Susan is the second oldest child and the most beautiful girl of the Pevensie children. She also is the most faithful child in the stories. She has a kind and sweet heart and character, a little bit bland maybe. She believes her sister, but always is leaded by her brothers. She gets a horn given by Santa Claus which could be blown and used when they ever find themselves in any dangerous situation. In the later stories, she is brave and becomes queen at Cair Paravel. She is called the Queen Susan the Gentle.
3.1.2.5 Edmund Pevensie Edmund is the third oldest among the children. In the image, Edmund is always a brat with the spiteful, mean character. He teases his younger sister Lucy all the time. This similarity is of paramount significance that we can not ignore it in any research. Edmund is set free through the sacrifice of Aslan and can survive, in that way, he also find righteousness because of the death of Aslan. In the Bible, the redemption of human being is completed through the sacrifice and death of Jesus in the same way. When a chaos happens in the world of Narnia, people have limited abilities to defend for the life and justice, so the children need seek the help from Aslan. The children is so surprised when they see Aslan alive, actually, Aslan stands in Narnia and is alive at the present and in the future. Aslan does not wipe out all the evils because he gives the free choice to let others make and it does not mean that he does not care about the livings in Narnia because he also feel sad and heartbroken when he sees the broken Narnia. With no intervention, Aslan waits for the changes of living things. In the battle, Aslan finally shows up and triumphs over the White Witch which is beyond the understanding of the White Witch. When the resurrection of Aslan comes, there also comes the justice and peace at last. This resurrection is also a vital symbol of Jesus’ resurrection written in the Bible. Apparently, the story of Aslan’s death and resurrection is a symbol on the biblical record of the death and resurrection.
