According to the California Agricultural Production Statistics, wine is amongst the top 3 agricultural exports in California. This shows that Americans are trying to profit off of an unhealthy food. Wine has some nutritional value, but that is undermined by the negative effects of alcohol. Humans are listening to their brains desires more than their bodies desires. They want instant satisfaction, not long term satisfaction. Sugar is a perfect example of why humans are doing this. First off, sugar is very tasteful, but it provides little to no nutritional value. In the moment a sugary drink satisfies the human, but in the long term it’s a waste of calories. Humans only taste food for about ten seconds, but it sits in their bodies for much longer than that, but they don’t realise it. Food affects the body in the stomach, not the mouth, but the desire for foods stems from the mouth. The manufacturers of sugar take advantage of this desire only to obtain
