The population of Rome was around 2.7 million. Rome was always one of the greatest empires. There are three reasons why Rome collapse but the main reasons is Weak leadership. Weak leadership lead to economic problems and military weakness.
The first reason why Rome collapse was Economic problems and corruption. One reasons was they had very high taxes so people didn’t like that so there were many problems. Also Rome didn’t have very much money because they would pay their soldiers to try to keep them loyal to Rome. Emperors would take money to throw party or have festivals so that would use their money instead of using it for better equipment. But the main reasons why those emperor died were assation which shows that they must have done something wrong and then there army couldn’t protect them from who wants to kill the emperor for what they did wrong. Another reason how they died was they were either killed in battle or suicide. All of these frequent and violent changes in leadership was a big reasons why Rome collapse.
