Another great war has occurred. The bloodiest biggest war of all time. The US got involved because they were attacked by the Japanese on December 7, 1941. It was America vs Germany and Japan. There were many causes of WWII September 1939 Brittan and France declared war on Germany on the invasion of Poland. German people were unhappy because the treaty of Versailles was too harsh so they voted on a man who would tear up the treaty and his name was Adolf Hitler. Hitler ordered German troops into the Rhine land and allied with Italy and Japan. Failure of appeasement was also a cause of WWII. Also failure of League of Nations; not all counties joined, the league had no power, the league had no army and unable to act quickly. These are some reasons why America stayed neutral at the beginning of WWII. We stayed natural because we were in the great depression. We wanted to stay neutral but we were selling war supplies to allied counties. Another reason is because of isolationism and saw Hitler was Europe’s problem. …show more content…
The first event was because of the invasion of Poland by Hitler. Another event was the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 353 Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. These where the main events that got us involved in to the bloodiest war of all time. This is what happened on the home front of America. American life changed dramatically during this time. Clothing and food where rationed. Japanese Americans lost their rights and we put them in concentration camps. Citizens of America where dependent on radio reports. Some famous baseball players went to fight in this war. They also made movies of the war of newsreels from battles.
