The MEDCOM Medical Assistance Group (MMAG) includes the Ombudsmen Program and the Wounded Soldier and Family Hotline. The MMAG coordinates the resolution of Wounded Soldier and Family Hotline (WSFH), Wounded Warrior Resource Center (WWRC), Fort Family Outreach and Support (FFOS), The Surgeon General webpage and other referring agencies’ issues through Action Officers and local Ombudsmen. The Ombudsmen provides a confidential, neutral and impartial, independent, and informal resource for Soldiers, their families, military leaders, and beneficiaries through research, guidance, and advocacy in support of the Total Force to enable readiness. The WSFH offers wounded, injured, and ill Soldiers and their Family members a way to share medical related
