A roguelike dungeon crawler with a top down view about trying to get to a birthday party you’ve been invited to. The player can name whoever’s party it is with options like “Your _____ (ex.family member)” or just a name.
ABOUT THE GAME
The object of the game is to give an awesome gift to ______, make it to the party with your car, find as much treasure as possible, and not be killed along the way. The player’s car is essential to winning (They can’t leave the dungeon without it) and getting higher scores. The car has infinite storage for treasures and limited but large storage for usable objects found in the dungeon. The more items you bring back and their value adds to a score. Bringing back cursed items either in the car or on the player’s person detracts from the score upon exiting the dungeon. The car acts as a mount and does require gas (which can be found in the dungeon) it acts similarly to hunger does in other dungeon crawlers. The player themselves do get hungry, food can be found or purchased in the dungeon. There occasional are gas stations where the player may buy gas or food and other types of shops for various things. Upon leaving they may choose what to give as a birthday gift. The value of all their treasures is tallied up and the value of the gift they chose is multiplied resulting in a final score. If their partner is still around it counts as a small bonus. After that there’s optional narration to read describing the party with the player showing up fashionably late despite being in the dungeon for an significant amount of time. The player character either shows up with the partner healthy or drags them along beat up depending on if they made it with
