The Lovely Bones: A Comparison The title of the book is called “The Lovely Bones”. It takes place in Pennsylvania where the family of the Salmon's live. The theme is a little secretive for the person named Mr. Harvey. Mr. Harvey is the neighbor of the Salmons. In the book it gets more detailed than in the movie. In the movie it is easier to understand what is happening by being able to see it. They are the same in parts of the movie and book by doing or saying the same thing at the same part. It is the same in both the movie and the book because it shows them being in the cornfield and talks about them in the cornfield in the book. In the book it goes into detail about what is happening when he traps her but does not show what he did when

Next in the movie he sees a mountain lion when he takes the pups home in the movie. Another is when the the Pritchard boy dies Billy sees him first not Raine like in the movie. For instance in the story hannah is a very young and mindless little 12 year old, and in the movie she is 17 and more understanding and knows what to do in a troubling situation. Also in the movie a young lover boy likes hannah and wants to help her escape the concentration camp, but in the book she is too young to have a boyfriend. Another difference would be when she is opening the door for elijah in the book she sees a man in a field singing and approaching her, but in the movie she goes right into a hallway. In the book the people always called her chaya but in the movie they never called her chaya they kept it at hannah. Also in the movie the jews in the concentration camp have a passover for rivka after her mother died to calm her nerves, but in the book they do not have the second passover, and rivka does not even have a mom in the book.…

and I visioned no fire but in the movie there was a fire in the background. In the movie I saw trees in the background and they were playing dramatic music but in the book there was no trees and no music in the background. In the book they had so much details on what was happening and how everything rolled out. Now with the movie to me it just looked like one big fight, you couldn't see anything it was just one big blob of people fighting. Best and Worst In the novel, “The Lovely Bones”, there are many events that occurred. My favorite part of the novel was when Jack Salmon, the main character’s father, began to suspect his daughter’s murderer and sought to find evidence to put him behind jail. Even when everyone else had lost hope in finding the suspect, Jack did not. He pestered the police again and again in hopes of catching the person who killed his daughter. It was interesting for me since Susie’s mother didn’t show as much determination to catch her murderer despite her love for her daughter too.…

Also later in the movie it showed how johnny and tyrone looked because it showed how johnny was lighter than explained in the book. Plus it shows how Lloyds life style looks when dave and LeAlan go to wake Lloyd up so they can start their interviewsfor that day. Another difference is how much violence is despayed in the movie like when LeAlan and Lloyd were walking down the street to see a friend or a homi and a car drove by with men shooting the guys on the street and how LeAlan and Lloyd were able to make it to safety and get out nof their as quick as they could. These are some of the…

The crossover episodes between the two shows on FOX which no-one thought could never happen is finally upon us. Science meets the supernatural when the leads from Bones and Sleepy Hollow both guest star in each other’s series this Thursday evening in a two-part Halloween Special Event. I haven’t watched Sleepy Hollow since giving the series up during its first season I’m afraid, and as yet haven’t watched the screener for the second part of this story so can’t judge how that section of tale goes. However, if like me you are only a fan of Bones, then you will be pleased to know that this can be viewed as a complete standalone episode, the case is tied up for the Jeffersonian team when the end credits roll in a satisfying manner.…

We all have lied probably once before in our lives but its not a good thing. In these two books in “matched” and “lovely bones” you will see that lying and tell the truth is happening. In the book matched it talks about Cassia lying to Xander that she has feels for Ky and keeps it behind Xanders back which is not good thing you should always try to be honest and kind to your friends and not hind that behind someone's back. The same thing goes for “lovely bones” where Mr. Heavy hides from the sammons that he killed Susie Salmon and hinds it from them so look out for that not trust that is the two books that I am doing. Book 1 in the book “matched” talks a lot about not being brave.…

The Lovely Bones’s setting is important considering it was back in the 1970s, when people didn’t comprehend such horrible events such as the following: murder, rape, and kidnapping. In the 1970s people had just begun to realize that kids were disappearing, being killed, raped, and other horrible acts, whereas in today’s society, it’s a common occurrence. Susie said in her narration that “This was before kids of all races and genders started appearing on milk cartons or in the daily mail” (Sebold 5). Therefore, this quotation clearly establishes the setting so people can understand that it was much different when Susie died; and why people didn’t suspect it was Mr. Harvey.…

To unravel a murder, you have to strip it to the bone. Over my summer break, I spent much of my time watching a show called Bones. Bones was created by Hart Hanson and directed by Dwight Little and is still currently in production. It features the work of Emily Deschanel, David Boreanaz, Michaela Conlin, TJ Thyne, Eric Millegan, Tamara Taylor, John Francis Daley, and John Boyd as the main cast. The show has a recurring cast consisting of Patricia Belcher, Ryan O’Neal, Eugene Byrd, Michael Grant Terry, Carla Gallo, Joel David Moore, Ryan Cartwright, Pej Vahdat, Luke Kleintank, Brian Klugman, Ignacio Serricchio, and Laura Spencer.…
