The Carpenter’s have started their story to a worldwide audience reaching an estimated 400 million people who have either seen read or heard their story. They are also a feature biography among books such as Chicken soup for the couple souls. Dr. Carpenter and his wife have spent the past 12 years interviewing globally and presenting as national speakers.
They are also the authors of the New York Times 31 Best Selling Book, “The Vow” - the True Events that inspired the Movie. Their story has become the subject of more than 400 interviews worldwide to include two appearances in People Magazine and the Today Show, three appearances on Dateline NBC and Inside Edition, the Oprah Winfrey Show, Dr. Phil and with Japanese, German, United Kingdom, and Australian television and print media.
Their book “The Vow” tells the true story of their challenging journey. Originally published in 2000, an updated version was released in 2012.

Just two short months after being married, Krickitt, Kim’s wife, ends up losing her entire memory after a devastating car crash. Krickitt does not have any memory of the wedding or of ever dating Kim in the first place. However, the couple falls in love again by the end of the story. We love this book’s integration of Christianity, aw we are a Christian as well. We would recommend this story to anyone looking for a touching and sweet love story. The movie does this book a little justice, but the movie hardly even matches the story itself. The movie was kind of different but very romantic, but if it seems very intriguing. It’s better to read the book first before you watch
