Journal #10 In the poem “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock” by T.S. Eliot show some great and true statements about how love can or lust can have a person feeling cowardly. According to Google dictionary Cowardly mean “in a way that shows a lack of courage.” The main theme I got from this poem is how he is trying overcome his fear to gets the woman attention.
In “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock” the speaker also shows how it may take time for a man to go and approach a woman whereas others don’t even take time to think about the chance. He may even be a little shy. They tend not take things like that for granted. He also goes to say if he is really in love with the person he is talking to, sometimes in life people tend to just settle
