I believe that running the marathon has shaped me into the person I am today. It helped me identify my inner strengths, overcome obstacles and understood that consistency and determination are essential to success. My motivation to finish the Los Angeles Marathon is a reflection of my drive toward becoming an Engineer. Throughout the journey, when I felt as if I hit the “wall” and wanted to give up, yet, my desire to succeed kept me moving forward. My first marathon taught me that mental strength and perseverance are essential to reaching my goals. My experiences gave me a rewarding feeling of a purpose that I never want give up. I have the rectitude and strength to accomplish my goal of running a marathon even when it seemed out of my limit,
