The Lord Jesus Christ tells that people will come to know “false messiahs and false prophets who will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive” (Matthew 24:24). Although many false messiahs and false prophets have been a part of the earth since Jesus Resurrection, who seek to betray humans or persecute the true followers of Christ, there has never been an adequate worldwide fulfillment of the Lord’s words until the Tribulations during the first part of the 20th century. Since people are human, they have an internal need for survival and to have this need met, anyone of their leaders can sway a belief system by giving food to the hungry so they can reach their personal dispositions.
