The Longest Ride
The Longest Ride is one romantic novel. It all started with Sophia when her friend dragged her along to a bull riding competition. Sophia really did not want to go because, she had to study for her upcoming tests. After a few trials of begging Sophia finally gave in. When she went to the competition she had met Luke. Luke was one of the top bull riders in the United States. After they had met it was all up hill from there. Three objects that are related to Sophia’s adventure with Luke, college, and everything else that occurs are, Luke’s cowboy hat, Ira’s journal, and the bull.
The first object is Luke’s cowboy hat. This relates to the plot of the story because once Sophia is given his hat Luke tries to get together with her as much as possible. They began to get to know each other at first and became great friends, but after a while they actually started to build up some feelings towards one another. When Sophia was given the hat she tried to give it back to Luke but he told her that she should keep it. Sophia had always kept his hat in her room and she happened to glance over at it pretty frequently. After awhile Sophia would start to get impatient for Luke to call or text her, and she became very impatient for her to hangout with him. …show more content…
Ira has been writing his journal since around the time he had met Ruth for the first time. When Sophia and Luke had finally found Ira in his car accident and had brought him to the hospital, Sophia would stay every once and awhile to read him his journals. The more Sophia would read through them the more she would connect them to her and Luke’s relationship. Ira and Ruth’s relationship helped Luke and Sophia’s relationship in so many ways. Luke and Sophia would go through many up’s and down’s but the more she read the more it would help her figure out how to come back up from their
