To begin, I think that one of Bilbo's most important traits is his sneakiness. I think that it's awesome that he has this trait because it comes in handy all throughout the book. If he wasn't sneaky in many of the situations they've been through, they probably would've died. …show more content…
Another one of bilbo’s important skills is intelligence. Intelligence is something that everyone has, but in Bilbo’s case he is more intelligent than he thinks. Throughout the book Bilbo has done things that I wouldn’t have even thought to do. He had to come up with different ways to save the dwarves many times. For example, when Bilbo had to save the dwarves from the wood-elves they had spent days in that palace trapped eating food they didn’t want, and they were being forced to tell them something that they didn’t want to say. Bilbo spent his days sneaking in and out of the palace exploring the whole place, and finding different ways out while still taking care of himself by stealing food and water. While he was walking through the palace he found a good way to escape, and I think that it took a lot of intelligence to explore the whole palace, and use the ring to make himself invisible to make all of this happen. Pretty smart in my opinion. I just wonder if this intelligence while be enough to help them in the future when they get to
