The Lobster Movie

Decent Essays
I really like the movie The Lobster and I am looking forward to it’s opening on March 11. I think it will be a great movie because it has a innovate and interesting setup. This dark and funny love story film set up in a dystopian near future time when single people are arrested and transformed into animals of their choosing if they fail to find a mate within 45 days.
I am so sad the uncertainty about the opening dates because of the changes of the distributor. However, it might be good things for this movie because A24 is a better distribution company than Alchemy. Apparently A24 has more previous experience successfully distributes indie films such as The Room and Ex-Machina. I believe there will be more promotion of this movie coming out

Did you know that the movie for the outsiders is only roughly one hour and thirty minutes. Some might say that the movie the outsiders makes you have less sympathy for Johnny and Dally. I am saying this because in the book Dally sounds like he wanted to die more in the book. I am saying this because when it was written in the book even said he had a look of triumph in his eye, and in the movie, it seemed that he was scared and how he didn't want to die. The book is better.…

The movie Blackfish is different from many other movies because of the use of interviews, camerawork, and videos. The movie documents the life and journey of a notorious and infamous killer whale named Tilikum. Blackfish shows the problems of keeping a killer whale in captivity throughout its whole life compared to allowing the whales to live in their natural habitat. Throughout the movie Tilikum attacks three different people, and the SeaWorld owners choose to do nothing about it because Tilikum’s sperm is worth a lot of money. Blackfish goes into detail about the ethical and emotional concerns of keeping a large whale in captivity for extended amounts of time.…

I knew Red Lobster was a bad option. I wanted to go to Outback Steakhouse, but mom had her way, even on MY high school graduation. I was stuck, sitting in the booth, waitress staring at me for 15, 16, 17 seconds now. Sitting in my cap and gown, she asked again – “where are you going to college?” I’d prefer the Bloomin’ Onion to this any day of the week.…

This film should be released in small selective viewings at the start so as to minimize the chances of poor reviews circulating the web by mainstream viewers. The mainstream audience needs to be tricked into viewing this movie. Once they get a hold of it, and start pumping out the reviews the word will be out, and no one will want to see the film. Which is why this marketing campaign and the rerelease of this film must be done in stages. While the Jodorowsky issue could be ignored the lack of mainstream appeal in El Topo cannot be.…
