Plot Summary: The books starts out with the four Pevensie children moving into their professor’s house. The kids are exploring when they come across a room with a wardrobe in it. Lucy’s siblings don’t think much of it, but Lucy goes to explores the wardrobe. When she first goes in it’s only coats but as she moves in farther she finds that it’s no longer coats but trees. She walks and see a lamppost. While exploring this land she meets a faun, they start talking and then go to the fauns house. After a while the faun takes her home.When Lucy got home she told her siblings and they thought she was lying because she had only been gone for a few seconds.

White Witch- The white witch is the “ruler” of Narnia. She was very evil. She turned people into stone and caused it to only be winter in Narnia.

Setting:Took place around World War 2. The book mostly takes place in Narnia.
Theme:The theme of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe is being able to forgive. In the book Edmund betrays his siblings. By the end of the book he realized he was wrong and they forgive him.
Mood:The mood is fun and delightful. The author makes the reader feel in a very happy moods.
Tone: The tone is lighthearted.C.S Lewis is able to pass off the story is a very fun lighthearted way.
Irony:A use of irony is when Edmund listen to the witch because he wants to be king. In the end he becomes king anyways.
Imagery:Some imagery is when the author describes
Symbolism:THe lamppost represents finding their way home from Narnia.Also the winter represents death in Narnia. It also represents the awful rule of the white witch
Figurative Language:THe authors uses a lot of personification in many things.
