The Lion King is a very well-known movie from 1994. It was a Hamlet-inspired Disney film. It touched the hearts of many, young and old. And, although the plot was sad, it was a fun, family movie for all to enjoy. Lion King about a young lion, Simba, who lost his father at a young age, got banished by his uncle,who tried to kill him twice, and had to survive in the wild on his own until he finds two friends. Most people don’t know how Simba lost his father which is surprising because that’s the main part of the movie people tell. Scar tried to kill Simba but after it didn’t work, he thought of another plan to get rid of Mufasa instead. Simba met up with Scar, who took him to a canyon near a herd of Wildebeest. Once Scar left, the hyenas scared the Wildebeest so that they stampede toward Simba. When Scar got to Pride Rock, he told Mufasa that Simba was stuck in a stampede and lead him to the canyon. Mufasa jumped down and saved Simba but got hit by one of the Wildebeest. When he finally got free and jumped up, Scar was waiting on him at the top. Scar dug his claws into Mufasa’s paws until he could hold on anymore, and Mufasa fell. He was trampled and killed by the ongoing stampede. …show more content…
