Vaccines What makes vaccines so controversial is the fact that there is ample of quality of information and a few poor sources and people tend to believe the latter. I believe a lot of people make conclusions about vaccines without gathering the proper amount of information. As a result people misinterpret information and conclude that all vaccines are unhealthy and capable of causing serious problems. To a certain degree vaccines are dangerous. One thing that was discussed by the group extensively is the link between autism and vaccines, it has been long believed that vaccines can lead to autism, however as this group has discussed the link has been disproven, however it is still held onto by main stream media. Genetic modifications, as this group pointed out, have been going on for a very long time through natural selection. This process alone created the desired foods we want to eat. As per human genetic modifications, the first test began in 1973. From that moment in history genetic modifications became more prevalent. Often GMOs are consider damaging to our health because they are not natural, even if the gene being modified is natural elsewhere. Others see the positives, as in fruit, vegetables and organism are able to grow bigger and stronger, and provide more nutrients to our bodies than previous generations. On top of that GMOs can be modified to create a natural defense against pesticides, reducing the need for pesticides. Of course people are concerned about non GMOs breeding with GMOs and the possible creation of a super weed, however, I am not too concerned about this as for me the benefits clearly outweigh the …show more content…
Whether that is to teach us something, or to teach those around us. Romans 5: 3-5 says suffering is used to build us and off of this principle is where I stand. I think ending our lives before God intends to be goes against his intended will. However, I believe choosing not to get further medication is totally acceptable. Choosing not to receive medical attention upon knowing it will only extend your life is totally up to you, I believe that is leaving it up to God. My problems comes when people choose to end their own life through a medical procedure. Ending ones life is very different, than postponing death, the reason I say this is because this is letting God have the chance to do what needs to be done until your death.
