The basic characters in "The Lightning Thief" are Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Grover Underwood, Sally Jackson, Luke Castellan, Poseidon and Zeus. Percy Jackson is the saint and storyteller of novel. Percy is the child of Poseidon, the ocean's leader and one of the "Enormous Three" divine beings. His mom is a mortal named Sally Jackson, making Percy a demigod. Annabeth Chase is Percy's companion and little girl of the Greek goddess, Athena. Percy's closest companion is Grover Underwood, who is a satyr. Both Annabeth and Grover help Percy in his mission.
"The Lightning Thief" is a dream experience youthful grown-up novel that was composed by Rick Riordan. It is the first book in the "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" arrangement, and characters from Greek mythology are utilized as a part of the novel.

Percy stands up to Hades who blames him for taking his object of force, the Helm of Darkness. Protesting, Percy opens his pack from Ares as confirmation just to uncover the Master Bolt. Hades uncovers Sally, offering an exchange, however Percy uses Poseidon's Pearls so that he and his companions can get away, encouraging he will return for his mom.
The trio land in the sea, and on the shoreline, they are faced by Ares who concedes his part in the burglaries before Percy routs him in a battle. Percy gives the Helm of Darkness, deserted by Ares, to an anger, asking that she return it to Hades and guarantee him that there is no requirement for war. He then comes back to New York where he takes the lift in the Empire State Building to the 600th floor where Olympus skims over the city. Zeus acknowledges the peace offering, and Poseidon communicates pride in his child for finishing the
