Nothing In Biology Makes Sense Except in the Light of Evolution
In the year of 1966, sheik Abd el Aziz bin Baz had asked the king of Saudi Arabia to express about his religious belief that was spreading in his land. Sheik said, “The Holy Koran, the Prophet 's teachings, the majority of Islamic scientists, and the actual facts all prove that the sun is running in its orbit.” Sheik believed that the world doesn’t move and is made by God. His belief was that anyone who believed otherwise was not a son/daughter of God. The good sheik could have been right about some things, but was not right about everything he believed. He was very biased that you could give him evidence and he would ignore it. If you would try to convince him about the facts that were discovered, it would be a waste of time. “The earth is not the geometric center of the universe, although it may be its spiritual center. It is a mere speck of dust in the cosmic spaces.” The sheik was perhaps unaware that the Space Age had begun before he asked the king to suppress the Copernican heresy. “The sphericity of the earth has been seen by astronauts.”
