For example, you cannot be on a first name basis with them. SFC Smith on occasion would take this to the extreme and would almost take the side of the soldiers over his own team leaders. This would in turn almost destroy all authority his team leaders had over them. The soldiers may not think of it like this, but it would make them doubt the team leaders and disrespect them.

After approximately 2 years of the various behaviors I have covered a breaking point was reached. A confidential matter involving regulations that SFC Smith had broken led to an investigation being done. For the assignment, my focus would be on social issues that we have had over a couple of centuries and issues that still arise today. What has bothered me and still bothers me to this day are the double standards between men and woman and this mindset that a patriarchal society is the only way a society could function properly. This has bothered me my entire life. I have been affected by this at school from friends and teachers and also at work from superiors and at home from family members. I can perfectly recall my grandmother hounding on me to be this pure little girl abstaining from anything that could make me tainted.…
