These adolescents want more independence, yet it becomes hard when life skills have not been taught by a role model. Once they are face with the real struggles of society, then we see many adolescents and young adults feeling hopeless, and unable to care for themselves. The problem becomes greater when this adolescents and young adults are face with homelessness and unable to qualify for services due to budget cuts or not meeting program requirements. We believe that our proposal will work as:

Addressing the cause of the problem
La Child Guidance Clinic strives to provide temporary to permanent housing to adolescents whom have not yet experiences having place call home. As a non-profit organization we are fighting to help many adolescent and young adult in foster care and homeless to one day have a place of their own that they could call home.
In a study by Child Welfare Initiate, reported that we have over 1,100 youth aging out of the foster system yearly, yet there is a small percentage of foster youth that are able to obtain protection and help they need through supportive services and transitional housing programs. Thus, leaving large amount of other young adults not able to obtain the help needed and
