It is true, if people make a lie, they will need to use other lies to cover the first lie, then the lie will like the snowball become bigger and bigger. They have to remember each lie, otherwise when people see though the lie, they will look like naked and show in front of the people. Sometimes lies in making communication more smoothly, one of the most common is to say a white lie. Matthew Lesko, an American author known for his publications and infomercials on federal grant funding, said, “A degree of lying - you know, white lies - seems to be inherent in all languages and all forms of communication”. A normal life example, when your friends ask you advice about her clothes what you think it is not suitable for her, people often say you look good. Why they do not tell the truth, because sometimes the truth hurts. If you say it does not look good, you will hurt you friend’s personal feeling. A little lie is the best answer, and also helps people avoid some troubles. White lie will bring more damage. Just like Stephanie Ericsson in her article The Ways We Lie describes, “ The white lie assumes that the truth will cause more damage than a simple, harmless untruth.” Dan Ariely in Ted Talk shared his own experience that after he severely burned his nurse with a bandage to ease his pain, and told him every bandage was changed would ease his pain. However, if people always keep silent on some special situations when they need to talk, they will probably stop to expose the truth, or hurt others. Leonardo da Vinci said, “Nothing strengthens authority so much as silence.” Lie is not the most terrible thing, the horrible thing is that people who knows the truth but silent. If Lu Xun anger elimination, and maybe will say this: every page written lies behind eating because of silence. Another example is when I was young, my friends and I accidentally broken the neighbor 's windows with stones. When the neighbor came out to ask us, we choose silence, because we feel that silence was not a lie. However, my neighbor thought we silent because of did not know, so he wronged a usually more naughty children. Silence has powerful, people could not always answer with silence.
