While he was there he was told he could have seconds. ““You can have more she'd said, “Really I asked” “Yes, please take more, “This was only the second time in my life i’d ever had the opportunity for seconds at a meal” (46, Butler). This was such a change to him because he had never been fully before. In the projects money was hard to come by, so they were always stuck to having their serving of food, it is kind of sad to know how he basically starved due to the availability of not having money. LeRoy had always been on the basketball/ football team which had changed him to a star.
