The Fountain of Youth Have you ever wanted to know about the legend of the Fountain of Youth? Do you think it’s real? Do you think it’s fake? What if it was real? Would you use it? Who started it? Well they say that Juan Ponce de Leon was the one who discovered about the Fountain of Youth. They say that the Fountain of Youth is a magical fountain that it’s water has power to reverse ageing. So there for you wouldn’t die of old age. Who made up the legend of the Fountain of Youth? Well that is what I’m going to find out about. Hernando didn’t like Juan because he thought that Juan was cocky, dumb, and arrogant and those are some of the reasons why Hernando didn’t like him. He thought it would be easy to trick Juan because he was too concerned about his ego to check or care. So Hernando made the rumor about the Fountain of Youth. Convinced that the rumors were true, Juan went and was looking for it for 6 months and Hernando was laughing at his own joke. So Hernando just made it up as a rumor so he could laugh at Juan and make him a joke.
Greek Historian, Herodotus wrote about the Fountain of Youth. Since then, the Fountain of Youth has just been a piece of modern literature. There are no precise locations on where the Fountain of Youth is. Herodotus says that the seeker is most likely to be Juan Ponce de Leon. Juan was supposedly looking for the Fountain of Youth. Some say he found it and some say he didn’t. Well for now it’s just a piece of modern literature.
I researched a lot about the whole Fountain of Youth myth or legend. As you can tell all of them are most likely not to be true. There isn’t a Fountain with magical water that can reverse your ageing. It’s all a myth/ story. In my research it tells you that it was just a rumor so that Juan Ponce de Leon could look foolish. I finally found out the truth about the Fountain of Youth. It’s not real it’s just a really popular
